Interview Experience for Fresher Candidates:

  • I arrived at the interview location 10 minutes early and was greeted by the receptionist who directed me to a waiting area. After a few minutes, the interviewer came to meet me and took me to the interview room.
  • The interview began with some basic questions about my education, background, and experience. The interviewer then asked me some technical questions related to the position I was applying for, and I tried to answer them to the best of my knowledge.

Some tips for fresher candidates in their 3rd year and final year students 

  • Research the company: Before going for the interview, do some research on the company you’re applying to. This will help you understand their mission, values, and culture, and enable you to ask relevant questions during the interview.
  • Prepare your answers: Prepare for common interview questions, such as “Tell me about yourself” and “Why do you want to work for our company?” Practice your answers beforehand so that you can give clear and concise responses during the interview.
  • Dress appropriately: Dress professionally for the interview, even if it’s a virtual one. First impressions matter, and dressing well shows that you are serious about the position.
  • Be on time: Arrive on time for in-person interviews, and log in a few minutes early for virtual ones. This will show that you respect the interviewer’s time and are punctual.
  • Be confident: Confidence is key during an interview. Speak clearly and confidently, and make eye contact with the interviewer. Show enthusiasm for the position and company.
  • Highlight your skills and experiences: Emphasize your skills and experiences that are relevant to the position. Give specific examples of how you have used these skills in the past.
  • Ask questions: Prepare some questions to ask the interviewer at the end of the interview. This will show that you are interested in the position and have done your research on the company.
