kodnest is an Edutech where they train the students .they conduct CSR(corporate social responsibility)program for students and select a few students and give the training for the students in two courses like Java full stack developer and testing. Below explained are the rounds conducted to select the students for free training and it is on campus drive which came to our college.

FIRST ROUND: This round is a written round they only asked aptitude questions .there were mainly 30 questions for 30 minutes. The questions were easy to medium one can easily solve almost all questions in the given span of time .questions were like number series, missing letters, verbal, and puzzle question.

SECOND ROUND: This round is the JAM round which stands for Just a minute round where you will be given 1 minute of time you have to speak about the topic that you were given or else they will ask us to choose the topic of your choice. my tips for this round are mentioned below.

  • Start with a smile and greet them.
  • Introduce yourself like your name and college.
  • Just mention the topic which you want to choose.
  • Take some interesting topics because most of the students choose general and boring topics.
  • Try to finish the topic in the given time span such that others should also get a chance to speak.
  • They are looking for your communication and thinking abilities.

THIRD ROUND: This round is the technical round where the questions asked here are a little difficult you need to be very thorough with what you mention in your resume. for me, the question started with a self-introduction and then went with technical questions on HTML, CSS, and Java.

  • what is DOM in HTML?
  • why we need to write inside the DOM in HTML?
  • what are the properties of CSS?
  • where do you use the CSS properties?
  • How do you link the CSS file?
  • what is the difference between inline and external CSS?
  • universal selector use in CSS?
  • universal selector symbol?
  • Difference between class and ID?
  • use of div tag?
  • principles of OOPS?

Above mentioned all rounds are elimination rounds at they selected four students from our college and I am the one among them.
