Siksha O Anusandhan University (ITER College), was founded in the year 1996 in Bhubaneswar Odisha. This institute had created a renowned status in the field of education and research. Institute provides a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses along with an extensive source for research and development in many different sectors. ITER is basically a private engineering institute which offers a wide range of courses but ‘Computer Science’ is the most popular and one of my favorites too.

To get admission to this college, students have 3 different sources: First one is to pass the SAAT examination which is conducted by itself. More than 60% of the seats are filled by this exam only. The second one is by the score of JEE Mains and the third one is by your 10+2 marks. Once students have qualified in any one of the criteria then he/she has to attend the counseling round, where seats are allocated according to their marks.

why did I choose this college?

The simple answer is just because of the experiences shared by my seniors were very clear to me and that helped me to take my decision. Along with this, I had seen all of the knowing seniors have got placed in multiple companies which also boost my decision of finalizing the college.

Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for admission, students must meet the following criteria

  • Education:- Students must have completed their 10+2 or an equivalent qualification with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as compulsory core subjects.
  •  Minimum Percentage:- Students must have scored 60% in 10+2 to get a seat in the Computer Science branch.
  •  Entrance Exam Score:- Students must have scored a minimum 70 percentile in the SAAT examination to secure a seat in this college. Along with this, a student must have scored 75 percentile in JEE Mains to get a seat via this process.
  • Reserved Seats:- Students from reserved categories have a specific relaxation in terms of minimum percentage in 10+2 or SAAT exam or JEE Mains.

Important Documents :

You must carry all the necessary documents such as the 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, school leaving certificate, character certificate, etc at the time of admission.

The admission process at college primarily depends upon the marks scored in the exams. Once a seat is allocated, students need to complete certain formalities such as document verification and fee payment within the given time.
