Somaiya University Campus Experience

So as a student at Somaiya University for the past few years, I have come to a conclusion…. As I have completed my high school and pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in computer application (BCA) I have seen that Somaiya universities have adopted for a New education policy (NEP) so there have been a lot of changes in the curriculum and implementation of this policy. The fees for all bachelor courses are on a higher side (of Somaiya private university)

1. We are an experimental batch (All new things are being trialed and tested on us).

2. As per NEP we will have 7 subjects (including a Minor subject) and a sports to (only for 15 weeks).

3. Most of them will be practical as well as theories.

4. College is very strict regarding Ragging.

*Minor in Finance

*Minor in Taxation

*Minor in Cyber Security

*Minor in Data Science

*Minor in Management

*Minor in Embedded System & IoT

*Minor in Mass Communication

6. There are lot of clubs you can join for fun

7 A huge campus of 50 acres and lot of facilities.

8. Teachers are not that strict (there are few Gon cases too).

9. Placement is decent (4 to 5 lap few lucky one to get 8 lpa also)

Overall, a decent package for a college you can have lot of fun as well as study for your exams and improve your over all personality. And also all the colleges in campus have really great Sex ratio.
