Introduction:

Jadavpur University offers BTech programs in several departments, including computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, civil engineering, and others, in addition to B.Sc., M.Sc., diploma, and postgraduate studies.

Initial admission:

My friend’s name is Koustav Khan. He is now pursuing a B.Tech. in computer science and engineering at Jadavpur University. Third year now. In my blog, I’ll discuss my experiences applying to colleges. The institution is in West Bengal, and admission to the engineering program requires completing the 12th board exam.

Eligibility Requirements:

The West Bengal government runs a test called the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations for students with a science background who also receive a 60% on their 12th-grade board exam to gain admission to Jadavpur University in West Bengal. No one is permitted to apply for admission to this college without a high WBJEE score. He took the test, and his results were excellent. Instead, in the first round of counselling, he got a computer science and engineering stream.

Documentation Required:

The documents required for admission are the West Bengal Joint Entrance Test rank card, HS result card, Aadhar Card, and Photocopy. They are given a form to complete with their basic details before continuing to study in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering after the college authorities have confirmed their physical paperwork. After a few days, the students all arrive at the college to finish their university registration, and I join him. The college staff explained the registration procedures to us. After everyone has completed the registration process, professors and all of the new students visit the campus.  The campus is beautiful, and my friend and I had a great time.
