After completing my BCA, I was confused about my MCA that is which college would be best for me. I attempted the NIMCET once and the CUET exam twice but I didn’t get the best ranked college. then I decided to search for private colleges. I have searched various private colleges but I took admission in CU. do you know why? because apart from all colleges, it gives us scholarships. yes, two or three more colleges give us scholarships, but still, I chose it. so let’s discuss about process of getting Admission in it.

Eligibility Criteria:-

There are no such types of criteria but still, I matched my eligibility like

  • Graduated with 50%
  • In 12th or graduation you must have one mathematics paper.
  • Must attempt CUCET at least once.
  • CUCET exam fee is 1000rs

Documents needed if you are in graduation:-

  • 10th, 12th marksheet.
  • Graduation marksheet up to the 5th semester at least.
  • Aadhar card (self and father)

Document needed if you passed out graduation already:-

  • 10th, 12th mark sheet.
  • Graduation mark sheet up to 6th semester
  • Aadhar card (self and father)
  • 5 photograph for reporting
  • Character
  • Migration and Provisional
  • CLC

Step 1

First, I have applied for CUCET which is the test for scholarships. you need to open the Chandigarh University website and then register yourself on that portal with basic details.

Step2.

After registering the details, I got a call from counsellor. he told me the full details of the exam. I took the CUCET exam under the guidance of my counsellor. after the exam, I got my marks. with the marks percentage, I could calculate, how many scholarships I had gained.

Step 3.

After getting my scholarships, I had a chance to re-attempt the same scholarship test to get more scholarships. but I booked a seat by paying 5000rs on the CU Admission portal for Provisional Admission. this provisional admission fee was refundable on the given date by a counsellor. after the provisional admission, they added us to a group where I was able to find updates regarding the commencement of classes.

Step 4.

Before the given date, I paid the full semester fee. I have proceeded with all things only online till that date.

Step 5.

I had reported to college on the given date.
