The company visited for 3 profiles:
- Software Engineer

- Business Analyst
Eligibility criteria were minimum of 6 CGPA and no backlogs, students appeared for the exam were 160 and the process consists of 2 rounds.
Round 1: Written Test
This test was divided into two sections-
• Section 1 (30 min): This section had around 30 MCQ all related to Quantitative, Logical reasoning, and verbal reasoning.
• Section 2 (55 min): This section had basically consisted of three subsection-
I. Around 10-12 coding questions but all questions were easy to like find factorial, Swap cases, count vowel in the string, etc. (try to do at least 4-5 code)
II. Some basic subjective questions like list 3 difference between primary key and unique key, denormalization, syntax and semantics, one SQL query given and we have to write what this query does. (Personal Opinion: Try to write the answer in the concise form)
III. In the last part around 10 MCQ were there which were from .NET, JS, DS, etc. (I answered only 4-5).
57 students were shortlisted for the next round.
Round 2: Interview Round (Technical+HR)
This round was about 20-25 min. He asked me to introduce myself. Then he asked about my projects like what was my role in the project, what problem I faced, and how I overcome that problem.
He told me to rate myself in C++ after that he started asking questions from C++ like what is abstract class, what is an inline function, what is destructor in C++, and can a destructor be overloaded, etc.
After he asked me – “Had you visited the SEW website”. I said – “Yes”. Then he asked me-“What do you know about SEW”.
He asked me – “Which profile you want among all three”.
He gave me one real-life scenario like if you have to save electricity and water then what you will do. I answered this question in terms of AI and IoT. (Interviewer was satisfied with my answer)
Then he asked: “why should I hire you”.
“Tell me about your strength and weakness and how you will overcome your weakness”.
“Are you willing to relocate for the job”.
At last, he asked me if I had any questions. It’s good to ask some questions it shows that you are interested in the company.
25 STUDENTS WERE FINAL SELECTED AND I WAS ONE OF THEM.
