After completing my high school, it was time for my higher secondary education, and my choice of pursuing higher education was at Purushottam Walawalkar Higher Secondary School, commonly known as Saraswat.

As the days before the admission process began, the school prospectus was released some weeks before the admission date, and my parents got one for me. The prospectus provided all the information regarding the courses, fees, necessary documents and eligibility criteria. I kept all of the needed documents ready for the admission day.

On the admission day, we reached the school campus by 9 am. When we arrived, we noticed that a lot of students were already present. We saw a queue of students heading towards a particular classroom. I initially joined that queue, but was later informed by a staff member about a separate queue for those with an 80% cutoff (due to my good percentage). I quickly then switched to the other queue. I felt a sense of pride when I shifted to the other queue and was glad that I had scored good grades.

After waiting for about half an hour, my turn had finally come, and I entered the admission room. There were three to four staff members that were handling the admission process. The first person checked and verified my documents, and stamped them with the school mark, and then passed them on to the next person for further processing. The staff members were friendly. Their attitude made me at ease and I felt better that the teachers teaching here were humble and kind.

The third person had told the details about the uniform pattern and other information about the school. I decided to choose the school’s uniform tailors to avoid any trouble about the uniform criteria. Lastly, I reached the last person who was responsible for collection of fees. The fee payment was smooth, and after they collected the fees, the person handed the stamped receipt to me. The admission process was well-managed. The attitude of the staff gave me with a positive impression of the school.

As the admission process was completed, I felt excited and confident but at the same time I was a bit nervous new journey ahead at Purushottam Walawalkar Higher Secondary School. The school had reputation for giving cultural values and academic excellence, which made me feel that I had made the right choice for my higher education. I felt pride as I became part of this grand institution.

I felt excited and thought about the various co-curricular activities that will be available, and the new friends I will make.

Whenever I look back to that admission day, I am glad of my decision to join Purushottam Walawalkar Higher Secondary School. It was the best choice I had ever made. This institute provided me with great values, friends, opportunities, memories and made me a better individual. I am proud that I was part of this institute.
