Walchand College of Engineering Sangli Admission Process

Walchand College of Engineering is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra and one of the oldest colleges in Maharashtra which was established in 1947. We are currently celebrating 75 years of incredible journey. This college campus is near Sangli and is spread over 90 Acres. Let’s see the procedure for getting Admission to the college.

Admission Process:

1. Students must appear in the MHT-CET exam organized by the Maharashtra CET cell. In other states, students are also allowed to give exams. (Note: Start collecting all the necessary documents after the exam .)

2. After MHT-CET results are declared, students have to fill out the registration form in which student need to upload all necessary documents.

3. After Registration, you have to verify all the documents uploaded in the registration form at the center provided by the CET cell.

4. After the Verification of documents, Ranks are displayed on the CET website. In one Week College form filling gets started. You have to fill out the colleges according to your preference. (Please select the college and fill form wisely).

5. Within one week, the Cet cell allocates colleges and then you have to visit the allocated college for document submission and to confirm your admission.

6. In Walchand College, You need to gather in front of TILAK HAll where the Teachers explain the whole process smoothly .you have to pay the fee first then you have allowed to enter Tilak Hall. so my advice you to gather mentioned amount before going for the admission process.

7. After confirming admission, the college provides you Bank number and college Gmail id. Then WhatsApp Group is created by the college administration and all the important notifications are displayed on this group like when the academic year starts, hostel admission, etc.

This college provides excellent placement opportunities for all branch students. Our college offers an average 9lakh per annum package. The companies like Pubmatic, Dhruva, and Deutsche Bank visit the college for placements.
