DCRUST Murthal Admission Experience

Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology also known as DCRUST MURTHAL is a renowned institute of Haryana. It is located a journey of one hour from the national capital. For undergraduate programs, admission is primarily based on the candidate’s performance in national-level entrance examinations such as JEE Main or Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) examinations. For postgraduate programs, the admission process typically involves a combination of entrance examinations, interviews, and academic qualifications. Candidates are required to qualify for entrance examinations such as GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or CAT (Common Admission Test) for management programs.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERION:

• Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech at DCRUST must have passed their 10+2 from any recognized board of education in PCM.
• Student Must have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Math as the main subject in their Intermediate Examinations.

ENTRANCE EXAM:

Scores of JEE MAIN are considered for the admission of candidates in BTech.

COUNSELLING AND SEAT ALLOTMENT

There are two main types of counseling

1. ONLINE:- Done by HSTES, For this, you have to register on the HSTES site, and according to the respective rank you will get a seat in the college. There are two rounds of online counseling.
2. PHYSICAL:- Done by the college itself, It is the last stage of counseling. The college can fill any vacant seats by physical counseling where the students can choose their preferred branch again on the basis of JEE main rank.

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION

Document verification is a very important stage of admission, The student needs to visit the college once they are allotted a seat (Even in the online counseling). They need to submit the necessary documents, such as HSTES Admission Letter, HSTES Fee Receipt, College Admission Letter, Caste certificate, Domicile (whichever applies), etc.

Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation: 

Candidates who have successfully completed document verification within the specified time frame to confirm their seat. Once, the Verification is complete, the admission process is considered complete, Then you can pay the amount for the fees of college.
