I applied for the Master’s program in Computer Science at Fergusson College. This course aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of advanced computer science concepts and technologies, including artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

The admission process included an interview stage. I was nervous yet excited about the opportunity to discuss my passion for computer science with the faculty members. During the interview, I was asked about my academic background, programming experience, and future career goals. Though challenging, the interview allowed me to showcase my technical skills and enthusiasm for the subject.

The admission criteria included a combination of academic qualifications, standardized test scores, and a statement of purpose. Applicants were expected to have a strong foundation in computer science, demonstrated through their academic transcripts and test scores.

The statement of purpose played a crucial role in highlighting the applicant’s motivation, career aspirations, and alignment with the program’s objectives. It provided an opportunity to articulate why I was passionate about computer science and how the program would help me achieve my goals.

Overall, the admission process was rigorous but fair, focusing on selecting candidates with the right blend of academic excellence, passion for the subject, and potential for future contributions to the field. I am grateful for the opportunity to have gone through this experience, as it not only helped me secure admission but also reaffirmed my commitment to pursuing a career in computer science.
