KMCLU Lucknow Admission Experience for B.Tech CSE

In 2020, I passed my intermediate exams with good marks. After that, I took various entrance exams like UPTU and BHU. Even though I got into good colleges during counselling, I didn’t get the branch I wanted. Then, I found out about an open seat for B.Tech CSE at KMCLU.

Eligibility Criteria:

To gain admission, I first had to meet certain criteria set by the University. These criteria encompassed minimum academic qualifications and requirements related to entrance examinations. It’s important to note that the specific criteria may vary based on the program and department within the university.

Entrance Examination:

Initially, I explored my admission options and discovered that merit-based admissions were available. However, the admission process has changed, and the university now exclusively allows admission through JEE Mains and its entrance exam. The shift in the admission process emphasizes a different approach to selecting candidates for enrollment.

Application Process:

When I decided to pursue admission, I reached out to the university’s helpdesk online. They provided me with detailed information about the admission process at KMCLU. To initiate the application, candidates are required to complete a form provided by the university. This form should be accompanied by essential documents, including academic transcripts, certificates, and photographs. Typically, the application process involves online submission through the official website of the university. This straightforward procedure ensures that aspiring students can easily apply and provide the necessary documentation for their admission consideration.

Entrance Examination and Counseling:

Initially, there was no requirement for me to take any entrance exams. but now, everything has changed, and entrance exams, along with counseling, have become part of the process. but now once the application process is completed, you are mandated to participate in the KMCLU examination. This exam evaluates a candidate’s proficiency in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The scores attained in this examination play a pivotal role in shortlisting candidates for subsequent counselling rounds. Or If you have appeared in any entrance exam like jee mains you can go for counselling through an online process.

Document Verification:

After that, I submitted the required documents, and that completed my admission.

Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation:

And finally, I submitted my fees online for the seat allotment. Once it’s done, my admission process is considered complete.

Exploring University:
After all that, I explored the campus, but it was a bit quiet due to COVID-19. I checked out the library, hostel, admin block, and canteen. Soon, I joined the university’s departmental WhatsApp group, and online classes started a few days later. Now, I’m in my final year, and things have changed – admissions mainly happen through JEE Mains and university entrance exams.

Looking back, getting into college had its ups and downs, but I’m happy with the experiences and growth I’ve had at KMCLU.
