A lot of procedures take a lot of time (as well as I didn’t know more about the admission procedure) so I ended up bored but with great pleasure.

Course: B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering(CSE)

Course Description:

Admission Procedure for Lateral Entry Students:

Academic Qualifications	Diploma in any stream along with the rank of CUET.
Entrance Exams	1. Qualify in relevant engineering entrance exams such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced (For admission in first year) and CUET exam (For lateral entry). 2. Prepare thoroughly for the exams, including studying the syllabus, taking mock tests, and understanding the exam pattern. 3. Obtain a valid rank or score, which is often used as a primary basis for admission.
Application Process	1. Research and identify universities or institutions offering B. Tech programs in your desired field. 2. Obtain the application forms through the university’s official website or designated admission portals. 3. Fill out the application form, providing accurate personal, academic, and contact information. 4. Pay the application fee, if applicable, through the prescribed mode.
Counseling/Interview	1. Some institutions conduct counseling rounds based on entrance exam ranks, while others may require applicants to appear for interviews. 2. Attend the counseling sessions or interviews as scheduled by the institution. 3. My Experience:

Embarking on the path of higher education is an exciting yet daunting experience. My journey into the admission process for my chosen course was filled with uncertainty and valuable lessons.

I decided to pursue a degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), a field I was deeply passionate about. However, I had limited knowledge about the intricacies of the admission procedure. Armed with enthusiasm and a desire for learning, I embarked on this unfamiliar road.

Initial Confusion:

The first challenge was deciphering the admission criteria and requirements. I was unsure about which entrance exams to take, how to prepare for them, and which universities offered the CSE program. My initial attempts to gather information left me feeling overwhelmed and anxious.

Facing Criticism:

As I fumbled my way through the process, I faced criticism from some of my teachers for my lack of preparedness. Their scolding was disheartening, but it served as a wake-up call. I realized that I needed to take charge of my future and make a concerted effort to understand the admission process.

Determination and Research:

I began a rigorous research process. I sought advice from seniors who had successfully navigated similar journeys and reached out to academic counselors for guidance.
