HSBC Interview Experience (On-Campus)

Round – 1 (Online Test): Online test consisted of total 40 questions, out of which 35Q were from Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, General Aptitude, and 5Q from Statistics. After that test, a behavioral test link was also sent.

Round – 2 (Group Discussion): A total of 5 groups were made; each with around 10 candidates. The topic for my group was “Impact of social media on human”. The time duration of the group discussion was around 30 minutes. It was sufficient time to discuss and put your point forward.

Round – 3 (Technical Interview): The questions were asked mainly from the topics and skills I’ve mentioned in my resume. Some questions were asked related to my internship project. Other questions were related to SQL; related to joins, indexes, and normalizations. They also asked use of EDA, ML algorithms, and Regression Analysis; performed by me in one of my projects.

Round – 4 (HR Round): The interview starts with “Introduce yourself”. In this round again few technical questions were asked based on what I’ve mentioned in the resume and related to my internship experience. Some questions were related to my hobbies also.

General Tips: Review your resume and ensure that you are familiar with all terms that you have included. Be confident and genuine when responding to interview questions.
