HFCL (Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited ) Interview Experience for Cyber Security Engineer

About the company:

Firstly let us know something about the company. HFCL Limited, headquartered in Gurugram, is an Indian tech firm specializing in the design, development, and manufacturing of telecommunications equipment, fibre-optic cables, and associated electronic devices.

Test Pattern: MCQ

The test consists of two sections.

• The first one is technical MCQ where we have 30 Questions. The technical questions were based on basic DSA, code output, data structures, networking, and some computer science fundamentals.
• The other section is Quantitative where we have 15 Questions.

Interview Rounds:

The interview round was a mix of technical questions and HR questions. Prepare the fundamentals of cybersecurity, real-time assessment scenarios, VAPT, Linux commands, etc, and some HR questions like :

• Tell me something about yourself.
• Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
• Why do you want to work in HFCL?
• What are your strengths and weaknesses?

The interviewers are very very supportive. Just have the confidence, and right attitude, and give point-to-point information. If you do not know, no worries. Tell them, but don’t try to fool them. They have experience more than your age.

The second interview round was taken by the senior authority. It was something more based on your resume and your role. Don’t expect easy questions here. It was purely technical. They can ask out of your resume also. Prepare risk management scenarios, VAPT, fundamentals of ethical hacking, Hash algorithms, and attack strategies with remediation.
