Dewiride Technologies Interview Experience for SDE Intern

For this interview, I was lucky enough to get a text from the company directly on LinkedIn. This experience is fairly recent, I had my 1st interview scheduled on 6th June 2023, and the 2nd interview on 8th June 2023.

First Round:

This round was a general round, no coding was involved. The interviewer started off with general questions and then slowly transitioned to technical questions related to the projects I had mentioned in my resume. The questions asked were:

1. Rate yourself on “XYZ” skills. (XYZ: react, javascript, node, express, flask, SQL, MongoDB, etc.)
2. Explain a few hooks in React
3. Explain joins in SQL
4. API requests and their types

I was freelancing at that time so I was also asked to show what work I had done as a freelancer.

Second Round:

This was a technical round, I was given 2 questions and 1 hour for each question.

1st question: print an advanced pattern, use any language and any IDE (had to share my entire screen with webcam and audio on)

2nd question: create a web API with 4 custom fields and provide it via a custom endpoint (…./count)

Unfortunately, I was not selected for the position but I hope this review is helpful.
