HCL Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2023

HCL Technologies visited our college in the mid of august to recruit for the position of Graduate Engineer Trainee. The criteria to appear for the exam were there should be no active backlog in the current semester and there should be 70 or 70 above % in 10th and 12th. There were 3 rounds of an online assessment.

Round 1: Online test: These rounds were 4 sections

• Quantitative  Aptitude 
• Verbal Ability
• logical Ability 
• computer fundamentals 

  I was clear all the rounds then I got a mail for the coding round 

Round 2: Coding: There were two basic coding questions asked in the coding round one was from an array and another was from a string. I solved both of the coding questions. Then after one or two days, I got a mail from HCL for an interview.

Round 3: Technical interview 

• Tell me something about yourself.
• Explain your project.
• In which language you are comfortable (I choose JAVA)?
• What are StringBuilder and string?
• Difference between C++ and JAVA?
• What are assess specifiers in JAVA? explain working details.
• Difference between final, finally, and finalized 
• Why java is the platform independent, and what are JVM JRE, and JDK?
• Explain pillars of oops with real-world examples.
• What are the interface and abstract classes in java?
• Any questions from me?

My technical interview experience was good it was around 45 minutes. Then after 3 days, I got a mail from HCL for the Hr round

• Why we should hire you?
• What are your hobbies?
• What was your role in the project?
• Any questions I asked for feedback?
• Then he wishes me the best?
• Any questions from me?

 My hr interview was good it was around 30 minutes is there any questions regarding your HCL interview experience then do write in the comment box I will be happy to answer.
