HCL Interview Experience (On-Campus)

HCL Technologies visited our college in the second half of August 2022 to recruit for the position of Graduate Engineer Trainee(GET).

It had 3 rounds.

1st Round: It was an online assessment test on HackerRank, which had 42 questions within 90 minutes, there were 40 questions on aptitude, computer basics, pseudo-code, and 2 coding questions (C/C++ where only options given).

• 1st Coding question was to check if the given number is prime or not, return 1 if the number is prime or return its lowest divisor.
• 2nd question was on the array concept, to check if the elements of the arrays can be made equal using multiple operations.

2nd Round: It was a one-on-one technical round, which lasted for around 30 mins.

• The interview questions were mostly based on my resume, basic computer fundamental questions, and a basic pattern printing question.
• And the questions on Project mentioned in the Resume, the challenges faced while doing the project.

3rd Round: It was an online HR Round, the HR round lasted around 10 mins.

• The HR asked the common personality test questions.
• Why HCL?
• Do you willing to Work if selected?
• Do you willing to relocate to any city pan India?
• Tell me about your project, and the challenges faced during the project.

VERDICT: Offer Letter has been given, if accepted there will be paid training/internship for duration of 6 months from January(During our 8th Semester).
