Difference between Android 1.0 and Android 4.4

1. Android 1.0 :
Android 1.0 is the very first version of Android which was introduced by Google. It had some basic features including web browser support, camera support, Gmail accounts, Google maps and Youtube application. Although it does not have the official version name like further introduces versions but unofficially it is called Apple Pie. The API level in Android 1.0 version is 1. It is not used anymore in the mobile devices. It was released on 23 September 2008.

2. Android 4.4 :
Android 4.4 is the next version of Android after Android 4.3 which was introduced by Google. It has all the features of its previous versions and various new user and developer features were added in this version. Key user features like screen recording, new translucent system UI, enhanced notification access, system-wide settings for closed captioning were added in this version. Its version name is KitKat. The API level in Android 4.4 is 19. It was released on 31 October 2013.
