CodingMart Interview Experience for Junior Software Developer

Hi there, I recently attended the interview of CodingMart for the junior software developer role. In this article, I will explain in detail about my interview experience.

Role: Junior Software Developer

Round 1 :

• It is an online assessment and you can expect MCQs from Data Structures and Algorithms.
• You have to solve 30 questions in 30 minutes.
• Having a strong foundation in DSA concepts is vital to clear this round.
• The test will be monitored by recruiters.
• It is an eliminatory round and during my interview around 50% cleared round one and moved further.

Round 2:

• This is a coding round and in this round, you are expected a solve a single problem in 45 minutes.
• This round is scheduled for one hour and the last 15 minutes is for discussion.
• Solving a problem in the last 15 min will not be taken into account.
• You can solve the problems on your own PC and online compilers are not allowed in this round.
• It is an eliminatory round and during my interview around 50% cleared round one and moved further.

Round 3:

• It will be a Technical HR discussion.
• The common interview questions that were asked in this round are based on
  • Database Management System
  • Computer Architecture
  • Software Engineering
  • Operating System
  • Computer Networks etc
• The shortlisted candidates will have round 4 and it is an eliminatory round.

Round 4:

• It will be a general HR discussion round.
• The common interview questions that were asked in this round are
  • Tell me something about yourself that you wish I should know before your interview.
  • What is your biggest achievement in life?
  • Why do you want to work at CodingMart?
  • Tell me your experience when you took a risk and it paid off.
  • Who is your inspiration and why?
