Coalition Technologies Marketing Agency Interview Experience for Junior Front End Developer

I applied through the Naukri portal and went through a lengthy interview process. Initially, there were numerous questions to answer, but there was no human interaction involved. The entire application was completed online without any direct interaction with an interviewer. The exam process itself was quite lengthy and involved several formalities. It began with some basic questions that needed to be answered in writing. Following that, there was a video component where additional questions were answered. After completing these steps, the process continued onward.

The skills test will include:

QUESTIONNAIRE: VIDEO INTERVIEW (video camera needed): 15 minutes;

DEVELOPMENT CHALLENGE: 60 minutes.

Questions: –

1. Explain in 4-6 sentences why you are the best candidate for the position.

2. What was your last (or current) job position? Title? Daily tasks? Accomplishments?

3. What is the accomplishment you are most proud of?

4. How would you handle a situation where another team member was critical of your work?

5. With projects you’ve worked on in the past, what SEO and ADA principles, if any, did you factor in with your work? Do you have any experience or knowledge of other online marketing work?

6. What experience do you have with development? Could you please list the tech stacks you have the most experience in, from coding languages to content management systems to SysAdmin technologies?

7. This question is Assignment based here candidate has to submit the assignment. They give a PSD file and you have to convert this into HTML for further processing. And the final goal is to convert this into a single-page response site. The carousel should be responsive. On mobile, the tabs should be converted to an accordion. History, team – these are internal links on the page to their respective sections.

8. Make a short video introduction of yourself. VIDEO (3-5 minutes):

• -Introduce yourself and explain your interest in this industry

• -What excites you most about Coalition’s position?
• -What are the top three reasons we should hire you?

After that ask general questions like –

• What is the minimum acceptable ANNUAL / YEARLY salary in US dollars for you to join our team?
• If hired, how soon you would be available to start?
• What type of work location are you seeking?
• Are you willing to work our standard hours in our time zone?

Note: There is not any time-bound, you can use extra time, and all the questions are optional.

After that, they review your answer and if they feel that you would be a good fit for them, then they will contact you within 3-4 weeks for the final interview which will be conducted with a recruiter via Zoom.
