I appeared for the Carwale Hiring process which includes the Online Test and Three Interview rounds. Carwale is the first company in our college that came for the placement in June 2023. The whole process was on Physical Mode.

Carwale had come for 3 profiles in our college:

  • Associate Software Development Engineer
  • Front End Developer.
  • Associate Software Development in Test.

Eligibility:

  • 85% in the class 10th and 12th.
  • 7 and above CGPA in B.Tech
  • NO Active Backlog

Round 1 Coding (Online But in College Lab):

The First Round was the online coding round in which there were Four(4) coding problems.

  • 1st Question: LRU Cache Problem (https://leetcode.com/problems/lru-cache/)
  • 2nd Question: Find First Repeated Element (https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/problems/first-repeating-element4018/1)
  • 3rd Question: Find the Least Duration Between Given time slots
  • 4th Question: A Matrix-based Problem (Easy Level)

NOTE:- In coding problems, there was a candidate string token that had to be inserted in the answer to all coding problems.

Round 2 (Technical Round -1):

After the coding Test, The result was declared after 2 hours and I had cleared that round.

In TR-1, The Interviewer started with my Introduction and after reviewing my Resume, he asked me about ReactJS, Redux, and some web Questions.

After that, He asked about the Hash Map/ Table and How it is implemented internally and we had a good discussion on this topic.

Then Interviewer gave me a coding question named “Find the first non-repeating element in an array” and asked me to optimize that after giving the solutions that I gave.

He asked me another question “Trapping Rain Water” to code and I applied Brute force and solved that also at the end he asked me to ask any question that I wanted, so I asked a question and this round was completed.

Round 3 (Technical Round -2):

After clearing the TR-1, TR-2 was scheduled for the next day and it was on System Design. I was a little nervous in this round but the interviewer was very supportive and calm. Firstly He asked me about my intro and Personal Projects and I answered him.

After that, he asked me to design the “Amazon E-Commerce” and gave me some time to think. I have designed this and some discussions happened with the interviewer like

  • SQL vs NoSQL
  • Caching
  • Load Balancing of the DB
  • Filters Features on the frontend
  • Types of Users in the DB (it includes Delivery agents also) and many more.

This Interview was around 80 minutes and we both enjoyed talking with each other he was very supportive and assisted me whenever I was getting stuck. Overall Very Good Round.

Round 4 (HR Round):

I was last for My HR Round and all remaining students have already given their HR. I was a bit confident in this round because I had already read that in the HR Round, there were almost zero rejections.

this round was around 20 minutes and about myself, my family, passion, weakness, strengths, educational background, Hobbies, some good talks on Cricket (because the interviewer was also a cricket fan), and some related stuff.

After all this Round the Result was declared and I was selected as the only student from my college.

Thank You!
