CarWale Interview Experience for SDE

Coding Round

This round was conducted online at the hacker rank platform, where 5 questions were provided all the questions were medium-level type questions. Topics included such as arrays, strings, and Matrix. generally, if you solve minimum 3 questions and clear all the test cases then you are more likely to be going to the next round.

Note: No Python language was allowed.

Interview Round-1

In this round, the interview tests your problem-solving skills, they will be asking questions and you need to tell your approach.

Note: First tell them your brute force doesn’tGeneral directly jump to the appropriate method. After solving the question they will ask you to improve your technique. They will also ask to run your code on any IDE.

Interview Round-2

In this round, they will ask questions about the projects and internships mentioned in your resume. So be prepared and try to answer the questions in terms of numbers and values whenever you are asked about the details or processes involved in the projects or internships. Also, one DBMS question and one system design question were asked.

HR round

General HR questions were asked, such as where you see yourself after 5 years, why you need to join this company, etc. if you belong to the non-IT department then you will be asked a question as to why you want to work with us, what makes difference between you and someone who is from IT department, etc. so be prepared with your answers.
