Barclays Work Experience as Senior Engineer

I have worked with Barclays as AVP-technology for 4 years. I have primarily worked in the Derivatives division and helped the firm build a derivatives booking system.

In general, Barclays is a little slow and good for people who love work-life balance (excess of it). At times, you will be bored because of a lack of effort from your teammates.

4. No travel opportunities: Nil to very less travel opportunities and that too will be taken up by senior management.
