Amazon Interview Experience For Intership (On-Campus) 2024

Amazon India visited for the Summer interns for the Software Developer role from May to July 2024. It was an on-campus opportunity.

Amazon visited my college in August 2023. I am an Mtech CSE 1st year student.

First round [Coding round + Behavioural round]

First, we had to visit the Amazon jobs page and apply there and then they sent the assessment link for the test.

There were two types of tests were there:

1 Coding test and then some behavioural questions.

In the coding test, there were 2 coding questions which were of medium to hard level.

I solved one of the two questions and then answered the behavioural questions which were again you were given the situations and based upon that you have to choose what kind of behaviour in that situation best describes your personality.

I answered all the behavioural questions sincerely.

Verdict: Qualified for the technical interview.

Note: Later I got to know some of the students solved both codes but did not answer the behavioural questions seriously and due to this they were not selected for the interview.

Final round [Technical Interview Round]

Around 57 students were shortlisted for the technical interview round. We were informed that this will be the only round which will last about an hour and 2 coding questions will be there. If you clear this round there will be an offer letter from Amazon India in your hands. This was my only 2nd interview of my life.

The interview a mode was online meeting on the briefly Amazon chime platform. It started with 2 interviewers breifly giving their introduction and then asking them me tell about myself. I answered it and then without further questions,The first we moved to the coding question directly.

The first a question was based on the application of BFS in the graph. I was not able to give the satisfactory answer to the question. The second question was based on the Tree and slightly there was an application of DFS which again I was not able to provide a satisfactory answer. The interview 10 AM started around at 10AM and lasted about an hour or so. The overall interview experience and selection procedure experience were very smooth.

Verdict: Rejected.
