Hello Geeks !!

I am a Computer Science and Engineering Graduate from Tier III college. During the 7th semester of my B. Tech we had the on-campus drive of Accenture Solutions Pvt. Limited involving 2 rounds of Cognitive and Technical Rounds followed by Face to Face Interviews. We entered the organization as Associate Software Engineers. With around 2 months of intense training in Java and hands-on experience, we were rolled onto projects following an Assessment.

Project Experience:

Key Responsibilities –

  • To provide off-shore production Support to the client.
  • To make active communication with the onshore client in resolving their run time issues.
  • Fix the recurring issues and provide inputs for Automation Team(RPA) in fixing permanent solutions to them.

Learning Opportunities :

Far less in my opinion due to the nature of the Project that I have been assigned to. Had overall Professional experience in making active communication with clients.

Pros :

  • Active learning opportunities through Green Field Training and ongoing project training.
  • The rate of Skill enhancement is very high.
  • Attractive hikes as compared to other organizations.
  • Highly professional work ethics are shown.

Cons :

  • Not much importance is given to Entry level Associate interests.
  • Lobbying sometimes takes place in promotions or the rate of hikes given.

Suggestions to Fellow Juniors :

  • Speak out actively and let the leads know what your own area of interest lies in.
  • Do not get afraid of Rejection tags whose names seem to frighten us. PS: Do not make the rejection count go beyond 2 at max.
  • Never believe your teammates as your close associates. They are just your friends as long as you are part of the organization (It depends actually but it applies in most of the cases).

PS: The above-mentioned views are completely personal and they may not reflect in every case and with every person.
