This opportunity was a part of the on-campus hiring process conducted in my final year. Our college gave company-specific training, so we prepared well to attend this drive.

HIRING PROCESS

Stage 1: Cognitive, Technical & Coding Assessment

This assessment covers sections like English ability, critical reasoning and problem-solving, abstract reasoning, Common applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, pseudo codes, Networking security, network security, databases, cloud computing, etc.

The duration is 90 minutes and comprises 90 questions which cover Cognitive and Technical parts. Those who meet the eligibility criteria are only allowed for coding assessment.

This assessment should be taken in one sitting. Those who met the eligibility criteria were allowed to take the coding part. It contains 2 questions that should be completed in 45 minutes.

Stage 2: Communication round

This round had 6 sections and should be completed in one sitting. Though it is non non-eliminatory round, one who qualifies previous assessment must attempt this communication round.

Stage 3: Interview

First, the interviewer introduced himself and asked me to introduce myself.

Asked me to explain one of my projects, as I did 2 projects by the time I attended the interview.

Enquired about the problems I encountered during projects and how I tackled them. What’s my role in the project? As it is a team project, asked me how I arrived at the problem statement. Almost very few questions were asked technically in my interview.

I mentioned about an NGO in my resume and some questions were asked based on that, like how do I manage a team, what skills I gained through volunteer experience, how do I dedicate time for that, etc.

Finally, I was allowed to ask him questions. The total interview lasted for 10 to 15 minutes.
