Write It Up Event 2023 | Share your Experiences on GeeksforGeeks

Geeksforgeeks has come up with an event this year where you can share your experiences and win exciting goodies. As simple as it sounds, all you have to do is visit our portal and write up about your experiences, be it of an interview, campus, college fests, admission, competitive exams, or a job, and for every published experience win yourself some amazing gfg goodies.

The Write It Up League event has ended and We are happy to announce the winners.

Note: If top contributor of any category contributed more than 1 experiences then goodies based on number of contribution will be given as well.

Eligibility

Unlike last year, we are also accepting admission experiences, campus experiences, work experiences, and other experiences such as competitive exam experiences, and fest experiences this year. So almost everyone can participate in this event from students pursuing a degree, attending a fest, aspirants interviewing for jobs/internships, to someone with a job holding an experience or a fresher. There is no eligibility criteria as such. There are just some points you should keep in mind before sharing an experience:

• The experience shared by you must not be already published on GeeksforGeeks.
• It must not be plagiarised from some other source/platform.
• The information shared must be correct and indubitable.

Event Date: 1st July to 15th August

Rewards

In this event, every contributor whose shared experience gets published has a chance to be a winner. To appreciate your contribution we would reward the top 25 contributors of each category with our Career Success Roadmap course worth of Rs. 4999, and a Geeksforgeeks T-Shirt. You can also win exciting gfg goodies depending on your number of experiences that got published:

• T-Shirt if 2-3 experiences gets published
• Bag if 4-5 experiences gets published
• T-Shirt and a bag if more than 5 experiences gets published

P.S: Top 25 contributors of each category will be selected by our reviewers.

Note: We won’t be delivering goodies outside India.

Result Announcement: We will publish the winner list of the event on 30th August.

How to Participate?

The process of participating and sharing your experience with us in Write it up: Share Your Experiences is very easy. It doesn’t require any prior application. Follow the below-mentioned steps to be part of this event:

• Go to the following https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/
  • Step 1: Register on our GeeksforGeeks portal.
  • Step 2: Go to https://write.geeksforgeeks.org/ and choose what you want to write Interview, admission, campus, Work experience, or other experiences) and click on its respective card and write your experience.
    
  • Step 3: The write portal will take you to create a new post which is very simple to navigate. After creating the post, you can ‘SAVE’ the article and preview it to see how it is looking. The only category you need to add manually is “Write it up”. Thereafter, you should click the ‘SUBMIT FOR REVIEW’ button and the status of your article will become ‘PENDING’.
    
  • Our internal team will review it and if it required any modification then they will give you feedback in the comments under the article and saves your article status to Awaiting Author. After you have made all the required improvements as per the feedback, your article status becomes “PENDING” again.
  • When your article gets published, the status of your article becomes Published.

  Your experience might help someone who is struggling to pick a good college, someone who is indecisive to whether pick or drop an offer and even help someone crack their dream job/internship interview. So, actively participate in this event and share your experiences with us.

  Frequently Asked Questions

  Q 1. Is there a limit to number of experiences one can share?

  Ans. You can share any number of experiences as long as they are authentic. Goodies you receive will vary according to the count of experiences published.

  Q 2. I have worked in multiple companies. So can I submit more than one work experience?

  Ans.Yes, you can share your work experiences in each of the companies you worked for individually.

  Q 3. Can we submit Interview Experiences of only IT jobs?

  Ans. The answer is no. You can share your Interview Experience of any other branches of engineering or other any courses as well.

  Q 4. Can I share internship experience with an organisation?

  Ans. Yes, you can share your internship experience in whatever field or domain you worked as an intern under Work experience section in our portal.

  Q 5. How to register to participate in the event?

  Ans. There is no need to register to take part in the event.

  Q 6. Will I get points for Badges, if my experiences got published and got views and likes?

  Ans. No Points will be calculated/added to Experiences Related articles.

  Q 6. I am not an Indian resident. Will I still recieve the goodies?

  Ans. No. We won’t be delivering goodies outside India.
