Wipro WILP (Work Integrated Learning Program) Interview Experience

In the Month of January 2022 during the end of 5th semesters of my BSc Computer Science, I was appeared for this Exam. So basically Wipro conducts this WILP program only for BSc and BCA Students. BTech Students have another program (Elite and Turbo) so they can’t appear for this opportunity.

In WILP (Work Integrated Learning Program), we have to work as full time employee and during weekends we have to attend MTech classes which will be conducted by BITS Pilani.

1st Round:

So the 1st Round was consist of two Tests,

The 1st Test was Online Assessment Test also known as Aptitude Test where we have total 3 sections. Each section has 20 minutes/ 20 questions. We will get questions on Verbal, Analytical, Quantitative. This Aptitude test will be of 80 Minutes.

After completing this Aptitude Round the 2nd Test was the Written Communication Test. It will have an allocated time of 20 minutes. Here they will provide a topic and you have to write an essay on that. My topic was ‘Should the Cell Phones Be Allowed in Schools’.

I got mail exactly after 1 week that my Assessment round was cleared, and I am eligible for next Round.

2nd Round:

The 2nd or Final Round which was the Interview Round. It is known as Business Discussion Round. Many students got confused that this is something different from actual Interview. But the reality is they named it different because we don’t have to appear for Technical and HR Interview separately, They Merged them and named that Business Discussion.

My Interview was conducted on Superset Platform. I had to join 20 minutes before the Interview starts so we don’t face any issues on both end. I was really nervous because it was my life’s first interview.

When the time comes I got call from the Interviewer. I joined successfully then I greet my interviewer ‘Good Afternoon’. Only one person conducting the interview and she took both the Technical and HR round.

Technical Part:

  • First she asked me to Introduce Myself
  • Then she asked about projects. So I briefly described about my minor project as at that time I don’t have any major projects. But I got messed up some times.
  • Then she told me to describe OOPS Concept. I started with class and objects and described all four pillars of OOPS with proper examples.
  • Then she asked about SDLC and Waterfall model. As I was not aware about software Engineering at that time because this things was in 6th Semesters of our curriculum. So I told her that.

HR Part:

  • She asked me about conflict management, if a conflict starts between my team mates then what will be my steps to resolve the issues.
  • After that she asked me about my short term and long term goals and where do I want to see myself in next 5 years.
  • Whether I am ready to reallocate or not.
  • Before ending the interview process she asked whether I have any questions or not. So I asked about the training process of Wipro.

After couple of weeks I got the Offer Letter, and after accepting it I had to complete the Background Verification Process.
