What is WhatsApp Crop Tool for Drawing Editor and How to Use It?

WhatsApp crop tool will allow users to edit images within the Windows app drawing editor instead of using any external editing app for cropping and editing their images.

Meta-owned instant messaging app, WhatsApp has constantly been introducing new and unique features to allow users to have a seamless user experience while operating the app.

The recent feature announced by Meta is the WhatsApp crop tool for the drawing editor in the Windows beta version of the app. The feature will enable the users to crop and edit the images within the app without using any external editing applications for the purpose.

The report posted on WABetaInfo mentioned “WhatsApp is rolling out a new update for the Windows native app through the official beta channel on the Microsoft Store, bringing the version up to 2.2321.3.0. 

What’s new in this update? WhatsApp is rolling out a crop tool for the drawing editor along with redesigned calling buttons, and it’s available to some beta testers!”

This built-in feature will not only make it convenient for the users to edit the images without leaving the WhatsApp interface but also save them lots of time. The feature has been made available for a few Windows beta users as of now since the feature is still in the testing stage, it will be rolled out for other users in the upcoming days.

The report also stated that there could be a changed interface for the calling buttons for some users. The calling buttons will now appear in a circular icon for the iOS beta users

Another development in the Windows Beta is a feature in polls wherein the users will be restricted to select just one answer in the poll instead of multiple answers. The feature aims at increasing the efficiency of the poll tool and benefiting the poll creators to draw precise and relevant judgments.

The company had earlier brought an “Edit Message” feature that allows users to edit sent messages within a certain time limit. There was also a chat lock feature and a retrieve deleted messages feature that the company has brought in the past months.
