Right now, the stable version of WhatsApp for iOS will feature a new adjustable theme accent, with the user interface having a default blue colour accent.

Reports say that WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will let users change the language of the theme. The feature will work with the instant chat app for iOS. WABetaInfo reported that the latest beta version for iOS has a light green tint added to some parts of the interface. The platform seems to be getting ready to give users five different colour accents for themes in the next update. WhatsApp Developing Theme Colours

1. Green Tint in Beta Version:

A green tint was recently added to some parts of the app’s interface to make the beta version look better on iOS. If you look closely, this change points to a bigger plan to give users more power over how the app looks.

2. Customizable UI Elements:

Users will soon be able to choose a theme accent for different parts of the interface, such as the number of messages in the chat list, the rings around status updates, the colours of certain tabs at the bottom, and some buttons. Blue is the standard colour accent for these parts in the latest stable build.

3. Five Colour Accent Options:

These UI elements have blue accents in the most recent stable version of WhatsApp for iOS. WABetaInfo shared a picture of the five colour accents, which included a green WhatsApp accent, a blue accent, and an off-white accent, with pink and purple also being choices. People who use the app are told that choosing any of the five choices will only change the main brand colours.

WhatsApp Beta for iOS Introduces Exciting New Sticker Feature

Sticker Editor Feature

WhatsApp is now testing a sticker editor on the most recent beta version for iOS (24.1.10.72), in addition to the theme accent feature. Users will have additional options to customize and create stickers right within the app thanks to this functionality, which intends to provide them with more flexibility.

Edit Existing Stickers

Beta testers can change the stickers they have by tapping on them and then clicking on the “Edit Sticker” button that appears. This gets rid of the need for sticker apps from other companies.

Create Your Stickers

There is also a “Create Your Own” button in the test version that lets users make their stickers inside the app. When people make stickers on their phones, they can even get rid of the backgrounds of pictures.

WABetaInfo says that users can now get the latest version, WhatsApp Beta for iOS 24.1.10.72, through the TestFlight program. This version has support for new features. We anticipate that these capabilities will eventually make their way to WhatsApp for Android as the app usually keeps feature parity between the two platforms.

Conclusion

Beta testers can use the new label editor right now, but users may have to wait a while longer to be able to use the colour accent option. Because of what the tracker does, it is currently being worked on. Since WhatsApp usually keeps features the same on both Android and iOS, we expect these features to come to WhatsApp for Android in the future.
