As a computer engineering student at VESIT (Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology) in Chembur, Mumbai, my campus experience has been defined by growth, strong friendships, and a supportive academic environment. VESIT has provided me with an enriching blend of practical knowledge and theoretical understanding throughout my college journey.

The first year at VESIT was a transition phase, as we were introduced to the world of engineering and explored various fields. It was a time of excitement and curiosity while acquainting myself with new subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Alongside academics, I made lifelong friends and started engaging in extracurricular activities that helped me foster my personal development.

As I moved into my second year, I delved deeper into the core subjects of computer engineering, such as Data Structures, Computer Networks, and Database Management Systems. This period was marked by rigorous learning and academic challenges that enhanced my ability to reason logically and strategically. By participating in several coding competitions and workshops organized by the college tech clubs, I acquired new skills that boosted my confidence.

During my third year at VESIT, I had the opportunity to work on a real-world project as part of the curriculum. This project not only sharpened my technical prowess but also taught me invaluable lessons on teamwork and effective communication. The numerous hackathons encouraged me to think out of the box and come up with innovative solutions.

In the final year at VESIT, it was satisfying to witness how my learnings translated into accomplishments. The college’s dedicated placement cell ensured that workshops on soft skills development complemented our strong academic foundation. Notable companies visited our campus to offer coveted roles with competitive packages. As we attended pre-placement talks and cracked interviews, it was evident that our hard work had paid off.
