While we may not have qualified for the finale, our achievement of making it to level 2 as one of the top 15 teams in the region was a testament to our dedication, innovation, and relentless pursuit of our vision. In this article, I will share the inspiring story of FarmBuddy’s journey, showcasing the invaluable lessons we learned and the growth we experienced throughout the competition.

  1. Institute-LevelLevel Shortlisting: The journey began when FarmBuddy caught the attention of the judges during the institute-level round. Our solution, which aimed to empower farmers by connecting them directly with customers and eliminating intermediaries, was recognized for its potential to revolutionize the agricultural sector. This initial validation fueled our determination to take FarmBuddy to the next level.

The regional round served as a platform to showcase our solution to a broader audience and gain valuable feedback from industry experts. The journey to Bengaluru was a testament to our hard work, passion, and ability to collaborate effectively as a team.
  3. Level 1 Achievement: Although the competition was tough, our perseverance paid off as we successfully qualified for level 1 of the regionals. This achievement was a validation of the innovative thinking, technical prowess, and problem-solving skills that we had put into developing FarmBuddy. It reinforced our belief in the potential impact our solution could have on the agricultural ecosystem.
  4. Securing a Spot in Level 2: While the journey to the finale eluded us, our resilience and commitment earned us a well-deserved spot in Level 2 as one of the top 15 teams in the region. This accomplishment showcased the progress we had made and the growth we had experienced throughout the competition. It was a reminder that success is not solely defined by reaching the ultimate goal but by the lessons learned and the impact made along the way.
  5. Lessons and Growth: Participating in the Solving for India Hackathon was a transformative experience for our team.
