Hi, I’m Sowmya, and I want to share my awesome experience at Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology.

Right from the beginning, we were encouraged to dive into coding contests and hackathons. Our super-supportive alumni even sponsored hackathons. It made coding more than just theory; it became a hands-on skill.

The institute is big on innovation and creativity. We had tech events and one-on-one sessions that made learning practical and exciting. It wasn’t just about books; it was about doing things in real life.

Our institute has clubs like GDSC, GFG Student Chapter, ACM, and CodeChef. Being part of these clubs wasn’t just about learning; it was like finding a second family. We grew our technical skills and made lasting connections.

The yearly fests were a blast Students, teachers, and even industry experts all came together. These events were a mix of fun and serious tech challenges. We got to showcase what we learned and learn from the best in the industry. Every year on January 11th and 12th our biggest college fest YuvaTarang will take place. This is the biggest event held in our college where we get a chance to meet celebrities, and all the other college students are also allowed to take place in the event. Such an amazing movement in my entire college life.

As we neared the end of our studies, companies started visiting for placements. Big names like Amazon, and Cisco. Even start-ups like DevRev and Incircles have great opportunities. Service-based companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Accenture were also there with diverse job options.

My time at Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology has been amazing. It’s not just about getting a degree; it’s about gaining skills that make you ready for a great career. As I say goodbye to college, I take with me memories and experiences that will stay with me forever. Cheers to the geeks, mentors, events, and the good times!
