Sirion Interview Experience For Associate Software Developer (On-Campus) 2023

Recently Sirion visited our campus to hire Associate software Developers. The Seniors and HRs of Sirion Labs conduct a Pre Placement Talk in the auditorium of the college. They present their expectations from students and their company culture.

  • Role: Associate Software Developer (Intern + Full Time)
  • Eligibility: CGPA > 7.5 and no current backlogs

In total 285 students were registered for this opportunity. There were 4 rounds. The description of each of them is as follows:

Round 1 (Aptitude & Coding):

This round contains the Aptitude questions, finding output of given code, errors in code, OOPS and 2 DSA Based Questions. Aptitude Questions were easy to medium level but Coding questions were from Dynamic Programming and Permutations. Which filtered most of the registered students.

Round 2 (Technical Interview 1):

This technical interview was conducted by a Software Developer. The questions asked in this round are as per below:

  • What do you know about the concept of Object Orient Programming and its need?
  • What is a Real-Time Operating System? Define it with an example.
  • Implement Stack Data Structure with array. What do we need to implement 2 Stacks?
  • Add two numbers represented by two LinkedLists.

Round 3 (Technical Interview 2):

  • What do you know about the NoSQL-based Database?
  • Write an SQL query to find the maximum and minimum salary from the given table.
  • As I made a project on the Computer Chat application. Therefore, they asked about APIs and Win32 API.
  • Concept of Master-Slave mechanism.

Round 4 (Technical Interview 3):

  • Find the 2nd max element from the array with multiple approaches and discuss the time complexity for the same.
  • Along with this some basic DSA Questions.

Finally, They select 3 out of 285 registered students. Qualifying in the first round was the most difficult because of the Dynamic Programming-based questions. One must be proficient in DP and problem-solving to qualify first round.
