Year of admission: 1st Year

Mode of admission: JEE Mains (followed by UPTAC Counselling)

I got allotted this college in Round 1, and till the end of counseling my seat didn’t change. I received a provisional admission letter around 28th Sept when counseling of round 4 was over. As per the admission letter, I had to come to college for Physical reporting within 2 days and complete my admission with full payment of a 1st-year fee or my admission seat would be canceled.

The next day, on 29th Sept I packed my backpack with all the necessary documents. I left my home at 9:00 AM and first went to a Bank to arrange money for college fees. After successfully arranging money, I left the Bank around 12:30 PM and started my journey to reach college (East Delhi to Greater Noida, via Metro). I was traveling alone that day and it was my first day when I physically came to see this college. I didn’t know the actual way to reach this college at that time, I was just using Google Maps. Due to hurry I took the wrong metro and realized this thing 1min later, I went to 1 station in the opposite direction (10min wasted), and from there I carefully took the metro and reached the entrance of the Aqua line metro of Noida sector 51. It was crowdy at that time and I didn’t know that time, the Delhi metro card was not valid in the Noida metro (Aqua line) then from their counter I was issued a Noida metro card after hustle 1hr of (paperwork and arrangement of 200 rupees cash, they don’t accept UPI while issuing card + internet doesn’t work properly at that station). Then I took a metro and reached Knowledge Park II station in 35 minutes, from there I used Google Maps to reach NIET, the New campus (Admissions for B.Tech 1st year via counseling take place at the new campus). I reached college around 3:45 PM and it was too crowded, everyone was busy attaching their documents, filling out some kind of form etc. There was a big stall at the entrance of the main building, and 4 faculties were sitting there. I reached out to them and told them that I had come for admission via counselling and I had been allotted the CSE (AI) branch. They asked for an allotment letter, I showed them my allotment letter, and they asked me for another photocopy but I didn’t have another one. So, they guided me way for a photocopy shop inside campus. And it was so crowded, with annoyed people waiting for their turn for half an hour. I got a photocopy in 40 minutes and again reached out to that stall only to find out that the timing for that day was over, and then I was asked to come tomorrow. It was a tedious and tiring day for me.

The next day, I along with my friend reached to college at 9:05 AM, took a file from there and filled it with all the details, made payment of the college fee. Gap affidavits and Anti-ragging affidavits are provided by the college itself in exchange for around 80 rupees per affidavit. Then documents are verified, and you are asked to generate your ERP and PI through a room. After that, you have to attach all these documents to that file and also email these documents to the college and your admission is completed. Just come to college and there a help center will guide you through each step and process. My experience was 3/5 due to the time they took to do all this stuff.

If you are coming here for your admission just take care of these points:-

  • Don’t come alone, bring at least someone with yourself
  • Must have sufficient funds in your a/c, apart from college fee
  • Bring all necessary documents with their optimum no. of photocopies.
  • Even if the college didn’t ask for it in advance, it’s good to have a migration and domicile certificate (They will ask for it later after admission)
  • Come early at the proper time
