I recently applied for the position of Operation Executive at Infosys and went through a comprehensive selection process consisting of three rounds: an Online Aptitude test, a Technical Interview, and an HR Interview. Each stage provided me with the opportunity to showcase my skills and expertise.

Round 1 :

The journey began with an Online Aptitude test, which required me to answer 40 to 50 multiple-choice questions within a specified time frame. The test covered a range of topics including

  • Reasoning Ability
  • Mathematical Ability
  • Verbal Skills
  •  Puzzles.

 I successfully cleared this round, which led me to the next stage of the selection process.

Round 2 :

The Technical Interview was conducted virtually through Zoom. It commenced with a self-introduction, allowing me to present myself confidently to the interviewer. They posed technical questions related to C and C++, which were mentioned on my resume. The questions spanned various topics such as

  • OOPS Concepts
  • Memory Allocation,
  • Polymorphism in C++,
  • Types of Inheritance,
  • Constructors or Destructors
  • Difference Between Method Overloading and Method Overriding.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to discuss my project experience, specifically highlighting my involvement in developing software for booking tickets at PVR. Overall, the Technical Interview provided a platform for me to demonstrate my knowledge and skills effectively.

Round 3 :

The final stage of the selection process was the HR Interview. Despite initially feeling nervous, I prepared thoroughly with resources such as Geeksforgeeks, which helped boost my confidence. The HR Interview commenced with a self-introduction, followed by inquiries regarding my readiness for the role, my motivations for choosing Infosys, and a discussion about my strengths and weaknesses. The interview concluded on a positive note, leaving me with a sense of optimism about the outcome.

A week later, I received an email from Infosys containing the offer letter and instructions for further configuration, which indicated that I had been selected for the role of Operation Executive. This news filled me with immense joy and excitement, as I eagerly anticipate embarking on this new journey as an Operation Executive at Infosys.
