Infosys Interview Experience for System Associate 2022

Hi, I am Arpon Kumar Chowdhury. In 2022, I did Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Kolkata.

I applied for the role of System Associate at Infosys and was selected for an Interview after a preliminary screening process. Here’s a detailed account of my interview experience :-

Round 1Online Written Test

The first round of this program was Infosys Online Test that gauged our logical thinking, mathematical thinking, as well as English Communication Skills.

Round 2 Technical & HR Interview

After clearing the written test, I was called for a Technical & HR Interview (by one interviewer).

15-minute Technical Interview:- The Interviewer asked me about my educational background and my interest in software development. He then proceeds to ask me some technical questions like my favorite programming language, the concept of inheritance, the concept of DBMS, and Computer Networking, etc. He also told me to explain about the mentioned project in my resume that I had worked on during my college days. I could answer most of his confidently, but also I struggled with a few of them.

5 minutes HR Interview:- The Interviewer was happy with my final year project & moved on to the HR round. He asked me about my hobbies and my reasons for wanting to join Infosys. He also discussed the job profile and the required job shifts.

Overall, the Interview experience at Infosys was challenging but enjoyable. The Interviewer was friendly and professional, and the entire process was very well organized. A few days after the interview, I received an email from Infosys stating that I had been cleared the interview round to receive a final job offer for System Associate Role.
