Infinite Computer Solutions visited our campus in March 2023 to hire for the position of Associate Software Engineer in the fields of Java, .Net, and Testing.

Round 1 – Cognitive Abilities:

This round consisted of questions related to verbal, analytical, and numerical abilities.

There were a total of 30 questions in this round, with 15 focused on verbal skills and 15 on analytical and numerical abilities.

The questions ranged from easy to medium difficulty. I would recommend seeking assistance from IndiaBIX to enhance proficiency in solving these topics.

The duration of this round was 30 minutes.

Round 2 – Functional Assessment:

In this round, questions were centered around programming abilities and topics like Java, Java FSD, .Net, and Testing.

The round comprised 15 programming-related questions and 30 questions related to Java Core, Java FSD, .Net, and Testing.

The questions varied in difficulty from medium to hard.

This round lasted for 45 minutes.

Round 3 – Communication Assessment:

This round aimed to evaluate speaking efficiency and assess the candidate’s language and grammatical skills.

The round included 56 questions of easy difficulty.

The allocated time for this round was 15 minutes.

Round 4 – Technical Interview:

Upon entering the room with my resume, I highlighted the areas I felt confident about. The interviewer meticulously reviewed my resume and then inquired about my introduction.

I was asked about the specific role I had applied for and was subsequently presented with questions related to that role. I had applied for the position of Associate Software Engineer in Java.

I was tasked with coding a prime number program in Java and optimizing it for the best possible complexity.

The interview then delved into Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and encapsulation. A detailed discussion ensued regarding encapsulation and its real-world application in Java-based application development.

My project experiences were also discussed.

Round 5 – HR Interview:

During this round, the HR asked for a self-introduction.

I was queried about my willingness to work in any offered location.

My current job offers were also a topic of discussion.

The projects I completed during my curriculum were explored.

Lastly, I was asked to share my experiences of working within a team during my internship.
