Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Dharwad) Campus Experience

As we all know, getting into IIT, NIT, or IIIT is quite challenging as you have to compete with around 9 to 10 lakh students and get admission to these reputed institutes. I am currently studying at IIIT, Dharwad which is located, as the name suggests at Dharwad. I took admitted in 2021 and will be passed out in 2025. I am currently in my third year but I came to campus in 2022 due to COVID-19.

In the first year, I learned many new concepts and skills. I also learned C, Java, and Python programming languages. There are also many types of clubs in which you can join and learn a lot of new things. The college will welcome you with very pleasant weather throughout the year. There are also many events that are being conducted on a regular basis which will help you learn new skills. Your stay at IIIT Dharwad will not be complete without experiencing the hostel life. You will soon fall in love with your new home, despite the fact that it may initially appear to be a little challenging to some of you.

One thing which I think I should mention is that the college doesn’t have an ATM inside the campus. But the campus is well connected to Hubli where you will get all the stuff that you need during your stay in the hostel.

Now, last but not least, is about placements. According to me, the average package at IIIT Dharwad is increasing quite rapidly and the number of students placed is also increasing rapidly.

Overall, it is a very good college where you will come across many new experiences.
