IIIT-VICD Admission Experience

About IIIT-VICD:

IIIT-VICD is a satellite campus of IIITV. It was designated an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament. Cooperation between the governments of Dadar & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu (UT Administration of DNH & DD) led to the establishment of IIITV-ICD in 2020 in the Education Hub, Kevdi – Diu. IIITV-ICD has been accommodated in the state of art campus of the Education Hub at Diu. The Educational Hub is spread over 25 acres of land.

This article will examine my admission experience to the IIITV-ICD campus, offering readers a taste of what to anticipate:

Process of Admission:

The whole admission process here is quite simple with the support of dedicated staff.

Eligibility Criteria:

The student must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10+2 exam or its equivalent.
Candidates need to have a minimum grade point average (GPA) as required by the institute.
They should have an acceptable JEE Main score.
The minimum percentage requirement may be specifically relaxed for students from designated groups.

Courses offered:

The sole course now available to students is the 4-year undergraduate B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) degree.

Admission :

The National Testing Agency’s JEE (Main) exam, which is used to determine eligibility for the Institute’s CSE program, is administered. The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB), also known as the Central Counseling Board of JEE (Main), invites candidates for counseling at certain centers, and seats for various participating universities are distributed based on individual merit.

Important Documents:

Students must physically report to the institute once the college is permitted following counseling.
Following is a list of the documents that must be brought with you when you visit the institute:
Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheets, together with a Category Certificate (if applicable), from JEE Main
Passport-size Photographs (2), Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate, and Domicile Certificate
Aadhar card pan card, or another item if noted

Experience:

The process is often easy; it only takes around 15 minutes to review the paperwork and obtain the required information. After paying the fees, the student is then successfully enrolled in college.

Additionally, there are a variety of scholarships and loans offered by banks and other organizations, which vary from state to state. Candidates should examine this information before proceeding with the payment of fees.
