Due to COVID 19 pandemic, Honeywell Technology Solutions had conducted all the interviews virtually this year. They had come to take students for a 6-month internship program, and based on the performance during the internship period, students will be converted as a full-time employee. There were 3 rounds.
1) First round was an online test that consisted of MCQs based on OOPS, DS, Aptitude, DBMS, and 2 programming questions (very easy). Around 100+ students were selected for the next round. I was one of them.
2) Second round was a Technical round and was for about 25 minutes. I was asked to explain the projects that were mentioned in my resume in detail. And based on my projects, various scenarios and conditions were given and I was asked to design the system for the same. Mainly the interviewer was trying to see my thought process and seemed quite happy with my answers. I was asked little about Database, SQL optimization as I had mentioned it in my resume. Finally, he asked me if I had any questions to him, I asked 2 questions related to the company and about the work of interns. He said I will have an HR round after this.
My advice is to be thorough with whatever you have written in your resume, be it projects, certifications, etc. And ask questions to the interviewer when you are given an opportunity.
3) Third round was the HR round, where basic questions like
Which project you liked the most and why?
Are you a quick learner?
How much would you rate yourself on a scale of 10 in terms of learning new technologies?
Why Honeywell etc?
HR told me certain details about the company and its working etc, Asked me if I had any questions for him. I asked 2-3 questions. This round lasted for about 15 minutes
My advice is to be confident and do a little research about the company.
Results were announced the next day of the interview and 24 students were selected for the internship. I was one among them 🙂
