I applied for the SDE1 position at Helix Opportunity through LinkedIn. After a week, a recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. The first round was a 15-minute Google Meet call where we discussed the company’s policies and acceptance of them. They also asked for basic information and an introduction.

The second round was scheduled a week after the first round and was a pure DSA round. I was given five Leetcode easy-medium questions and one hour to solve them on any IDE. I attempted four questions, and the codes were submitted on a Word document. I possibly had the correct approach, as I received a mail the next day regarding the third round of the interview.

The third round was scheduled three to four days after the second round. It was a technical as well as a system design round. They discussed my internship experience and projects, along with the tech stacks used by me. After that, they asked questions ranging from basic to intermediate questions of the database and high-level design questions, including API. This round went average for me.

In a week, I was informed that I had been rejected for that job role. However, I learned a lot and gained experience in handling pressure and thinking creatively in an interview.
