Flipkart Interview Experience for SDE1 (Off-Campus) 2023

Round 1 (PS/DS1):

The interviewer introduced himself and asked me to introduce myself. Then he asked me 2 questions. This interview lasted for an hour.

• Trapping rainwater
• Partition Equal Subset Sumrainwater
  

Round 2 (PS/DS2):

After 2 days, the round 2 took place. There were 2 interviewers. They first introduced themselves and asked me to introduce myself.

• Group Anagrams Together
• Capacity To Ship Packages Within D Days

In both the questions, interviewer asked me about various approaches that could be used, how we can minimize the time and space complexity. He even varied the questions a bit.
This round was supposed to be of an hour but got stretched for 45 minutes more.

Round 3 (Hiring Manager):

This round took place the next day. It was supposed to be of 30 minutes but lasted for 1 hour. He introduced himself and asked me to introduce myself.

• He asked me about my projects, what tech stacks I used, what structure I followed to make my projects.
• For team based projects, he asked me the general team based questions.
• Why I want to join Flipkart.
• Why I want to leave my previous company.

Verdict – Selected
Tip: Just consider the interview as a discussion. This makes you feel a bit at ease and opens your mind to think for more approaches as you don’t feel pressured.
