Haldia Institute of Technology Admission Experience

I did my B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology. I got Admission through the WBJEE exam. The college also takes admission through JEE Mains also. I got the rank 9245 and got into this college in the 2nd round of my counseling.

Criteria:

The 12th percentage should be above 45%. As my admission to this college was during the pandemic time the process was fully online. If you want to get into the computer science branch then you need to be under 10K. But I will recommend you to take the chemical branch as the placements of this branch are pretty good. Before admission the collegewith will provide you with the necessary documents that you will need during the admission, the college generates the notice on its official website so you need to check it from time to time.

Documents:

The documents that I submitted are photocopies of 12th mark sheet, wbjee scorecard, passport-size photographs, wbjee admit card. After you have taken the admission the college conducts its orientation which will give you all the information about the college. The College fee with the hostel is around 5 lakhs if you want to stay outside the campus you can opt out of the hostel, they provide you with that option also. Overall the admission process was pretty smooth there were no such problems during the admission.
