As soon as I entered the company campus, I got super nervous. But it’s normal for the first interview. As applying to an IT company, I was aware of the IT-related questions going to be asked. And obviously, logical questions as well. So, skip to the main part.

Round 1: MCQ Questions

A question paper containing 100 MCQ questions was provided to all the candidates. And the test duration was 1 hour only. As expected, there were multiple types of questions. Technical, aptitude, logical, C/C++ output questions and some MS Office-related questions. Firstly, I calmed down & started reading all the questions carefully. And started marking the right answers. The questions were tricky. After 1 hour, the papers were collected by the interviewer team.

Round 2: The Scenario

After getting selected in the first round, we were directed to another room for the second round. Again, a paper was given to us. But this time, an office scenario was mentioned on it. And the question was “How do you handle the situation as a Manager?” (may be different for everyone). After 30mins, I successfully managed to get to the third round.

Round 3: HR round

Firstly, I was asked to tell something about myself. Then, some questions about my graduation & my living. After that, the interviewer asked me to operate his laptop & solve some MS-Office issues. They checked my communication skills & confidence the whole time. And at the end, Wohooo!! I got selected for my first interview.

After coming out of the interviewer’s office, I waited for a few minutes. And then I got my offer letter.

Tip: Don’t ever try to confuse the interviewer. Be simple, polite & straight. Don’t lie about anything to get the job. They will find out eventually. Keep calm & confident. Language isn’t a barrier. Give the interview in whatever language you are comfortable with.
