The interview process for Flipkart typically consists of 4-5 rounds, which are outlined below:

Online Coding Round: Candidates will receive a link in their email for an online coding round. They will be given a list of 3 questions to solve within 60-90 minutes. Sample questions from a recent round include:

  • Sorting the first k elements of an array in increasing order and the remaining elements in decreasing order, given an array and an integer k.
  • A medium-level question based on HashMap from GeeksforGeeks.
  • A hard-level advanced string matching question from GeeksforGeeks.

Technical Round 1: This is a virtual face-to-face round, where questions will be asked based on the candidate’s resume and Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). Sample questions from a recent round include:

Technical Round 2: This is a virtual one-on-one round where DSA or Machine Coding questions will be asked. Candidates should prepare some level of System Design for this round, although it is not mandatory.

Hiring Manager Round: This round will focus on behavioral questions. Candidates should learn to use the STAR method to answer these questions effectively.

Final Call: The last round is for salary negotiations and for the company to roll out an offer to the candidate.
