The process to hire an experienced professional in Factset is that an HR will call you to schedule an interview. Then for me, it was about 2 technical rounds, 1 managerial round & finally an HR round. After the HR round, I had a salary discussion with that as well, so in a way, you can say that if you are in HR round then you will get the offer letter from there.

In the first round, it was about basic Java questions; like they asked me about Strings, ArrayList & HashMap. Along with that, I was presented with 2 questions from Leetcode. One was easy and another was medium. The interviewer was solving the question with you like they were solving a problem in which I was the lead and he was suggesting some things here and there.

In the second round, it was basically the same thing. It happened the very next day and had some leetcode questions. The first question was about medium and the second one was about the tough category. I was able to solve the medium one but I was facing a problem in the second one. So she helped me with it by giving me some hints. So it was a good experienced. Also, I was asked questions from Maps, Trees and she was more focused on Linked HashMap. She even asked me to implement one using basic Java (without using Linked List and Maps ) just Arrays. I was able to do that and I succeeded in the third round.

In this round, there were very less questions about Java or linked list. It was more like the guy was asking me about my resume. About my previous experience and others. Then he told me about FactSet and what are its goals. And told me that I should expect a call, which I got and I was in FactSet as a Software Engineer.

The HR round was basically an easy one and she was checking my communication skills. After she was satisfied she told me about the salary and other benefits.
