DTU Admission Experience

The process involved multiple rounds under the Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) based on JEE MAINS RANK for colleges in Delhi. With each passing round, the cutoffs for different branches kept dropping, making the anticipation of results thrilling. Finally, I secured a spot in DTU’s Engineering Physics (EP) branch, which later got upgraded to EE (Electrical Engineering). Despite the reputation of this branch being one of the most challenging, I wasn’t daunted as I believed in my ability to work hard.

I vividly recall the day of document verification at the auditorium, where the atmosphere buzzed with eager aspirants ready to embark on their college journey. Interacting with my future peers was exciting, and we all had grand plans and aspirations for our college life. The verification process, involving the collection and scrutiny of ID cards, preference lists, and fee receipts, took about 1-2 hours due to the large crowd.

Despite the wait, the entire procedure filled me with excitement and a sense of accomplishment. Stepping into this new chapter of my life at DTU, I felt ready to embrace new opportunities and make the most of my college experience. I remember enjoying a comforting meal of Maggi and sipping on ginger tea at NESCAFE, especially since I had a slight cold that day. The refreshing walk around the campus even made the usually bothersome Delhi pollution seem less of a concern.
