Introduction

Techno International Newtown was founded in 2005 and is part of the very well-known “Techno India” group. Techno India Group has always been a torchbearer in the field of Science and Technology, and TINT is no different than that. TINT provides a plethora of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the fields of technology and management. It also offers the students the opportunity to pursue some research activities that will be beneficial for them.

Eligibility Criteria –

  • For B.Tech candidates (4 years)-
  • Students need to score at least 50 % in 10+2 with PCM or PC-Computer Science. Also, they need to qualify for the WBJEE/JEE Mains.
  • For B.Tech candidates (lateral – 3 years)-
  • Students who take admission as lateral students after completing their diploma must have at least 60% to get admission here. No need to sit and qualify for any other entrance exams like JEE.
  • For BBA candidates –
  • BBA candidates must pass 10+2 with English, Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics/Computer Application. They will be selected via their 10+2 result (Merit-Based).
  • For BCA candidates –
  • For BCA candidates, they must have English in their 10+2 and they also don’t need to qualify for any entrance exam like BBA. Their 10+2 result is required to get admission.
  • For B.Sc candidates –
  • A B.Sc. is only available in two branches: Data Science and Cyber Security. Students need to have good marks at their 10+2 level as that marks are required to get admission.
  • For M.Tech candidates –
  • M.Tech is only available for Electrical Engineering, they need to have at least 50% in their B.Tech and must have a GATE score or qualify for WBUT PGET.
  • For MCA candidates –
  • MCA candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree which has Mathematics as one of the subjects. Otherwise, they need to have at least 50% in their 10+2. The best way to get admission to MCA is to pass BCA and then apply for it.

Application Process –

To get admission to TINT, students need to qualify for the JEE exam (for engineering branches), it can be the WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) or JEE Mains. Other than that, if the students want to pursue Postgraduate degrees, they need to qualify for the GATE examination. For other management courses, they need to qualify for WB PGET, JECA, etc. Students can get admission using any of the ranks of the above-mentioned competitive exams. After the results are declared, they need to participate in the centralized counseling procedure, in which they need to choose this college as one of their desired ones.

Online application steps –

  • Candidates need to visit their official website.
  • Then click on “Apply Online”.
  • Then fill out the Application form and click submit.

Otherwise, they need to rely on counseling. which is done after the results of the WBJEE or JEE Mains are declared.

Required Documents –

After the students have received their final seat in the college and choose to continue with it, they need to submit all their educational documents like class 10 mark sheet, certificate, 10+2 mark sheet, certificate, any govt. id cards like Adhaar cards, PAN cards, etc. to prove their citizenship.

Fee Payment and Confirmation –

After the verification of the documents, students need to visit the college campus with the verified receipt after successful verification and present it there. Then the college will do its admission process and mention the free structure with the admission fee. Students need to pay that amount under a certain date and their admission will be confirmed.
